Scar Concealment Micropigmentation uses carefully placed pigment impressions to reduce the appearance of visible scalp scars by blending them into the surrounding hair.

It can be used for FUT strip scars, FUE dot scarring, surgical scars, injury scars, and other healed areas where a difference in colour or density makes the scar stand out.

The goal is not to cover the scar with solid pigment. It is to recreate the appearance of natural hair follicles across and around the area so the contrast becomes much less noticeable.

Make Scalp Scars Less Noticeable

Scalp scars often become most visible when the surrounding hair is cut short because the lighter scar tissue contrasts against the hair follicles around it.

SMP helps reduce that contrast by adding natural looking follicle impressions through the scar and surrounding area.

This can make FUT lines, FUE extraction marks, and other healed scars blend much more naturally into the scalp.

You do not need to shave your head for treatment. Scar concealment can be customized around your existing hairstyle and hair density.

How Scar Concealment Works

Your treatment is gradually built over up to three sessions.

We carefully match the pigment to your surrounding follicles and place impressions through and around the scar to create a more consistent appearance.

Additional sessions allow us to refine the density and blending as the pigment heals and settles.

For clients who also have thinning hair, scar concealment can be combined with Hairline & Density Scalp Micropigmentation to improve the overall appearance of the surrounding scalp.
