Most SMP treatments are completed over 2–3 sessions, and unlike traditional tattoos, SMP is performed much more superficially in the skin. Because of this, the scalp typically heals very quickly with minimal downtime, minimal irritation, and little-to-no visible scabbing for most clients.

There’s no “required” waiting period unless you personally prefer one.
Some clients want to spread their sessions out gradually, while others want their transformation completed as fast as possible — especially before an event, vacation, wedding, photoshoot, or simply because they’re excited to see the finished result sooner. Both approaches work perfectly.
