MEET DAVID ROBERT
Toronto Scalp Micropigmentation Studio was founded by David Robert, an SMP specialist with extensive hands-on experience in scalp micropigmentation.
Before dedicating himself fully to SMP, David spent his 20s and early 30s balancing life in the public eye — including a six-season run on MTV's 1 Girl 5 Gays — while building a career in finance. Those experiences shaped the approach he brings to every treatment today: high standards, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep understanding of how confidence influences the way we present ourselves to the world.
After experiencing hair loss firsthand and witnessing the impact of a well-executed SMP treatment, David committed himself to mastering the craft and building a studio focused on one thing: natural-looking results that stand up to real life.
Today, every treatment is approached with technical precision and artistic restraint. From conservative hairline design and strategic density placement to meticulous pigment layering, the goal is always seamless integration with the client's scalp, existing hair, and natural features.
The objective is never to create something artificial or overdone. It is to restore the appearance of hair in a way that looks believable, balanced, and natural — helping clients move through life with renewed confidence.
